Meet Jen Roth, LPC, SEP
Licensed Professional Counselor
Somatic Experiencing Practitioner
I am a Licensed Professional Counselor specializing in somatic therapy, helping individuals experiencing chronic stress, developmental trauma, and nervous system fatigue rediscover a sense of internal ease. Working with body-centered practices for over two decades, I offer a gentle, regulation-focused container where healing happens through relational safety, non-judgmental awareness, and somatic co-regulation.
Rather than pathologizing your symptoms or asking your body to change, my work centers on meeting your system exactly as it is. I integrate Somatic Experiencing®, Kathy Kain’s Touch Skills for Trauma Therapists (TST), and Transforming the Experience Based Brain (TEB/Transforming Touch®) into body-oriented counseling. Within this framework, co-regulatory touch and somatic dialogue are used to support attachment regulation, reinforce existing capacity, and lighten the allostatic load your system has been carrying—allowing your body's innate wisdom and balance to emerge at its own developmental pace.
Why Somatic Therapy?
It can help with

Somatic Patterns & Physiological Load
Eases persistent strain, sleep disruption, and digestive or physical fatigue by supporting your physiology to naturally discharge tension and restore regulation.
Relational Support
Gentle care for early developmental wounds, helping your nervous system build safety, internal security at a comfortable pace.
Softening Effort & Strain
Help in lessening allostatic load and reducing daily bracing, allowing you to move through life with less internal effort and greater ease.
Wholeness & Internal Alignment
Restores trust in your body's innate wisdom, bringing greater alignment and congruence between your internal experience and daily life.
Healing is not about fixing what is broken; it is about creating the safety required for the nervous system to settle and restore its natural capacity.
All of You is Welcome
Safety and security are the foundations of resilience and self-regulation. Early developmental experiences and chronic stress shape how our physiology perceives safety, connection, and boundaries. Rather than trying to force new behaviors or analyze past events through talk alone, somatic counseling works directly with the body's implicit wisdom.
By honoring your system’s existing survival strategies and offering gentle, co-regulatory support, we help repattern somatic responses at a pace your nervous system can truly integrate. Here, nothing needs to be rushed or fixed—every part of your experience is welcomed with compassion and respect.
